Isaac Moore Carpentry
Time-served carpenter, just starting under my own name — kitchen fitting, joinery and smaller domestic jobs across Hampshire.
Kitchen fitting
Howdens, IKEA, Wren and trade-supplied kitchens fitted against real walls — level carcasses, clean scribes, worktops and doors that sit true.
If you have already bought the kitchen, I am the fitter. Ask with your plan and postcode.
The right kind of job
I’ve recently finished my training and I’m building Isaac Moore Carpentry job by job. I’m best suited to straightforward domestic work — kitchen fitting, doors, shelving, repairs and smaller property jobs — rather than large or complicated projects.
If that sounds like what you need, and you’re happy working with someone starting out properly, I’d be glad to hear from you. Ideal jobs right now are single-room or single-trade work with clear access. If it needs a full building crew or heavy project management, I’ll say so and point you to the family firm.
What I take on
From trade kitchen installs to sticking doors, floating shelves and fence repairs — practical carpentry for homes across south Hampshire.
-
Kitchen fitting
Howdens, IKEA, Wren and trade kitchens fitted properly — levelling, scribing, worktops and finishing.
-
Carpentry & joinery
Doors, skirting, architraves, banisters and timber repairs that stop the house feeling unfinished.
-
Doors, locks & door furniture
Lock changes, handles, latches and closers — security and day-to-day use sorted in one visit where possible.
-
Shelving & storage
Floating shelves, alcove units, garage and utility storage built to take the weight you actually need.
-
Decking & timber repairs
Boards, handrails and steps repaired or replaced. New groundworks and patios sit with the family landscaping firm.
-
Fence & gate repairs
Broken panels, rotten posts and gates that will not hang. New fencing installs stay on the landscaping site.
-
Property maintenance
Flat-pack assembly, TV mounting, curtain poles, boxing-in and the small jobs that never make the main contractor’s list.
Time-served, not oversold
I finished my apprenticeship recently. I am not going to pretend I have been on the tools for thirty years. What you do get is City & Guilds training, real kitchen installs on Howdens ranges at work, and the standards I was taught by my dad and brothers on family jobs.
If a job needs a larger building crew or full landscaping, I will say so and point you to the right people in the family — including Moore & Sons Landscaping for patios, groundworks and new fencing.
I carry public liability insurance for work in your home.
